June 2000, we are sipping a cocktail on a beach in Boulouris...the sunset, the sea, the red rocks as the only point of view ! We are two friends on south of France...The waiters at our table are all dressed differently, no harmony, no visual identity... We say "too bad for such a beautiful establishment"...Travaux en Cours is born!
We want to add style and color to work clothing and accessories. Out with boring, shpaless functionnal only garments. They kept traditional materials like cotton denim, canvas, leather and revised shapes and cuts, declined coloris inspired by the light of south of France, the colors of the sea, the lanscapes that had inspired so many artists before them. Years after years the line rethinks shapes, addresses comfort, practicality life needs at work and leisure without compromising on style and simplicity. For work, travel, week and weekends, hats, bags, aprons, sleepers have been addes to the collection organically.
