The Ryu tableware collection takes its name from the Japanese word for ‘flow’, which refers to the intricate patterns that adorn these elegantly crafted pieces. They are made using the traditional ‘Nerikomi’ technique, in which two different coloured types of clay are kneaded, rolled and cut by hand. This process results in unique patterns that are distinct to each individual item.
